In other words, the amount of computer performance you can buy per dollar will more than double every 18-24 months. To some extent, this reflects the speed of semiconductor technology progress.

    Semiconductor industry is not only a global advanced industry, but also a strategic emerging industry in China.     At present, our 8-inch silicon chip products are still in the process of continuous sample delivery, and maintain the monthly production capacity of 300000 chips.

    An important plan of the enterprise in 2020 is to promote the production capacity of 12 inch silicon wafers and provide more samples and higher quality sample products for the target customers.

    In December 2019, the trial production of Zhongxin wafer 12 inch silicon chip was successful, which filled in the gaps in relevant domestic technical fields and further enriched the overall technical strength of the semiconductor industry in the new area. If the monthly production capacity of 100000 chips is available by the end of 2020, it will also be a breakthrough in the large-scale production of 12 inch silicon wafers in China.

    In 2019, the actual demand for 8-inch and 12 inch wafers in domestic wafer factories is about 1.73 million and 3.41 million pieces per month. But compared with the demand side data, the market gap of silicon chip supply side is very large.

    At present, the monthly capacity gap of 8-inch and 12 inch silicon wafers is 740000 and 3.1 million, respectively. This means that 8 inch wafers currently have a gap of nearly 1 million, while 12 inch wafers have almost zero capacity.

    Zhongxin wafer aims at this almost blank "blue ocean market".

    If the sample delivery of 12 inch silicon wafers is successful as early as one day, and the production capacity is increased, we can get rid of the excessive dependence of large semiconductor silicon wafers on foreign countries as early as one day.
